A good game with bad fans

Moogie, Matt and I went to the Viroqua Basketball game in Middleton tonight. For the most part the calls were good, the game went well, and generally everything was fair. Except for those fans. The Monona Grove fans are poor sportsmen, and even worse winners. The booing, the beach ball, the noisemakers, the obnoxious cheers were all rude and demeaning. It made them look like idiots. The players on the bench were also rude, standing for minutes at a time so that we couldn't see. Even Moogie yelled at them, which Matt claims caught the ref's attention, and they were told to sit down.

Grrr....they made the game not fun to watch because they were so rude about everything.

Oh well. It was really great to see Linzi, Ashley, Michaela, Jacinda, Mrs. Klos, Martha and the Gilbertsons, and tons more at the game. It was a really nice turn-out.

Well, I'm going to go to bed, be stepped on by Daisy at least twice and have buddy sleep so that I can't move for a couple of hours. Then I'll awake to the sound of Daisy barking, the washing machine squealing, and Daisy kisses. Yep, i'm looking forward to it all ready :-D

I guess you don't know what you've got until it's gone. And boy have I missed Daisy and Buddy!

Soon to be in the land of unconditional love and pet hair

Only one more class until I'm reunited with my buddy and daisy!

Ok, more like one class, some good-byes to my pals, some movie time with Moogie, dinner with Moogie and Matt, and the VHS boys basketball game in Middleton tonight before I see my bubby and dizzy, but that's not that much time.

So much to do over break!

Well, I've got to go pack before class. Hope everyone's as happy as me (except the Hungary trip thing).

Unable to Study

Well, I've got one day to go and I'm unable to study. It's due to serveral factors. One, my neighbors have several friends over, so there is loud music and even louder laughter. Two, the den is in use for a Mary Kay party (which I myself went to, trying the foot scrub, the hand scrub, lip mosturizer, and nail polish - I feel so pampered!). Three, I'm too lazy to go to the lounge and the cafeteria. Four, I'm tired. Five, spring break starts as soon as I take this test I'm unable to study for.

yeah, I've got a problem.

Tomorrow I will be going to class (taking a test, watching a movie, and writing notes), then visiting Erin and Michelle, and then seeing Moogie. I hope to (really really hope to) go see the VHS Boys B-ball play tomorrow night in Middleton before heading to Dodgeville where I'll be able to spend some quality time with my kitty and puppy. Oh how I've missed them!

Ok, I'm going to get my bum moving and do something. I'm not sure what since I can't even sleep with the racket they've got going. Hmmmmm.....

Love you guys, miss you all terribly,

The girl with the golden fingernails (it's been over a year since I did my nails!),

Can't Sleep - I'm starting to hear my heart break

Well, the good news that I had can't cover the bad. I found out that I'll be a junior at the end of the semester, so I qualify for more summer financial aid. Unfortunantly, I'm still about $1000 short of the Hungary trip. And I have to know I've got it by Friday. Otherwise it's a no-go. I can't help but think that I have paid almost that amount in medical bills this past semester....how depressing. Anyway, so I woke up at 5:15 this morning with these thoughts and started to cry. Thankfully my roommate is a heavy sleeper, so I at least didn't disturb her. I put a load of laundry in the washer while I was up. I've got a neurology appointment today, so hopefully all goes well. It's hard to keep my hope up today when it's $1,000.......

I'd better stop thinking about it before I start to cry again.
Hope everyone has a great day,

Do not disturb - Alias on at 8 PM

Yeah, I know. Totally weird right? It's just that if you miss an episode, or even a few minutes for that matter, you are generally lost for a few weeks because everything builds on everything else.

Anyway, today Moogie came to town. She took Matt and I to Rocky's and then to Woodman's for some shopping. Matt went with Mike to a movie while Moogie and I cruised a bit on State St. Then we went to my concert .... I hope no one heard me flub a few passages. Oh well. Now I'm back at Liz (with lots and lots of food) about finish off some English homework (an oral presentation tomorrow!) before my show's on. I don't know how my roommate puts up with me, because for that one hour I'm completely glued to the set. And now it's 27" !

A busy week ahead and then (gasp!) Spring Break. Sounds like we may visit Viroqua, but I'm not sure when.
Come on, Blackhawks!
