Walking State Street -- currently chillin' in Memorial Library

HAPPY BIRTHDAY GRANDPA!!!!

I AM HERE (see above picture)

Ok, so I cheated to get to state st. I took a bus instead of walking. I fully intend on walking back, but the sun's getting to me already, and it's only 9:30AM! I plan on going to Land's End to see about my application. Then I'm heading to work to find somewhere to park the moving truck NEXT weekend!! oh crud! So close!!

I hope to go out to lunch with Zondra (from work) today, who will be leaving tomorrow to start her new job just a few short blocks away. Ok, the blocks are not short because they are Madison city blocks, but she won't be far away, but she won't be at work anymore. I'm really going to miss that lady!

Other than that, just trying to help everyone move. Boxes are now being put behind couches in order to make more space in rooms for more boxes. The coffee table and small chair have already been moved to Heather's new apartment. Our room (Taffy and mine) looks just about the same except the closet has less clothes since she put them into boxes. Otherwise, everywhere else is pretty messy. I can't wait to see what our house looks like when we drop all this stuff off on Monday, August 15th! Lots of love, Christi and Oscar (tail is still splitting, I'm worried)

State St. isn't quite this hopping today. Maybe later, if it stays nice.

Yay! Another baby to completely spoil rotten! I hope to maybe see them on Wednesday. Probably not though. I got SO sunburnt yesterday while watching the dancers at the Thai Fest at Olbrich Gardens (wish I'd had more time to look at the rest of the gardens, Sharon you would LOVE them!) that I switched shifts so that I wouldn't have to put on those itchy work shirts today. Hopefully I'll be not so red by Wednesday when I'll have to wear something other than spagetti straps which is the most I can wear right now (and it still hurts). Taffy is such a wonderful roommate -- she's been helping me put on aloe vera every few hours on the spots I can't reach.

I hate Chase credit card, I hate Best Buy credit card, and I hate having to call said peoples on my cell phone. Grrr...

Well, about time for another dose of aloe. Lots of love, Christi and Oscar (who has been temporarily moved since the coffee table's being moved out tonight. He still has a good view from my small fridge)

P.S. I'm not quite this red. Feels like it though!
