My last two days

Yesterday seems like ages ago. Yesterday we said good-bye to Aunt Sharon and Daniel. It kinda didn’t feel like a final “good-bye” though, more like a “see-you-soon”...kinda like when Mira went back to Germany. I knew that I was going to see her again (and I will again too) and so I didn’t feel so bad. Same feeling when we said good-bye to Sharon and Daniel. They’ll hopefully come back very soon, within the next 18 months. And hopefully George will also get to come back. I look forward to seeing them. I hope you guys enjoyed your stay here and that we didn’t scare you too bad, being our usual crazy selves.

Yesterday after the airport Mom and I did a million errands. By the time we’d gotten to UHS for my medications, they had closed for lunch. While Mom read Harry Potter, I took a nap...one of the best naps I’ve ever taken. I found a couple of my textbooks at 1/2 Price Books so I’ll hopefully save some money. A very good thing indeed.

We had a minor scare last night/this morning when Matt called. He didn’t feel well... really cruddy actually... and had called the EMTs. They checked him out and put his and our minds at ease. He still wasn’t feeling too good this morning when I called but at least he’s ok. One of the scariest things, getting a call like that. Thank God...He’s looking out for us.

Just got an e-mail from George. Everyone made it back to NZ. Hopefully everything, including that lovely lily vase, made the trip ok too.

Other than that, life is life and it is going ok. We’ll head back up to Madison on Saturday and I’ll move back up hopefully Wednesday, so I’ve got to start getting all of that ready. I’m also working on the paper, picking up books from the library and just shifting through them. I put all pictures up online so everyone can see. Mom’s misplaced the cord to her camera so we haven’t been able to get her pictures off yet. Will get those up asap. Well, lots to do.

Lots of love, Christi and Ollie (with Mom, Buddy, and Daisy)
