Mmmm... Strawberry Daiquiri good :)

Yes, I had a strawberry daiquiri. No, it did not have any alcohol. Although I was offered several times to have whatever I wanted from the bar. I couldn't have soda ('cause I gave it up) so it was a cheese pizza and a virgin strawberry daiquiri for dinner. After work (a law school reception - again, more free alcohol for the taking - Michelle and I met up with Erin and her mom at the state bowling tourney. Lots of fun and stuff - and another offer of free booze. I'm not your average college student, am I? Turning down free almost-anything. oh well.

Well...must get going to bed. JOSH GROBAN TOMORROW NIGHT!!!! YAY!

Christi

Friday - at last!

Tomorrow is the Josh Groban concert in Milwaukee!! I'm so excited - lots of time to spend with friends. Unlike my friends, though, I don't have a bunch of midterms next week. I've got one on Wednesday and one the Friday after and of course various Spanish tests in between. But some of them have 3 tests next week! Two have already said they may not come :( I hope that all goes well, everyone can come, and we have a good time despite test pressures.

Hmmmm....has there been anything else? Not really. Just lots of work and school and some free-time for me to relax before life becomes truly hectic. I suppose I should go get into that hectic life by once again looking over my history paper and some spanish. Have a great weekend everyone!

Sleep is GOOD

Not much is happening. I worked 25 hours this week and I've got more hours next week. Should be lots of fun! hahahahha.....

Yesterday after my 6AM-11:30AM shift ended fifteen minutes late, I met up with Mom and Carmen. We went to lunch at the mall and then off to do the ol' taxes. I didn't pay anything into the federal government - yay! (Last year I had to pay in $3!) and I got a bit back from WI that I'll be able to put into my housing bill. YAY! After that we went for a bit of shopping and to the new Will Smith movie "Hitch" which is really good. =-D Then off to Movie Gallery and a couple of other movie rental places to find Mulan II -- most of the stores only had a couple of copies of it, so of course it was already gone. Grrrr....mean little 7-year-olds ruined my movie night :( After a quick grocery stop we headed home. I stayed up a little longer so that by the time I went to bed I'd been up for about 20 hours straight (NO NAP --- no wonder I was grumpy!). I got to sleep in today until 11AM for it all even though someone called me at 9:45AM (she knows who she is :D ) Today I've got to do homework...lots and lots of homework. That's ok, 'cause I'll get to take periodic naps. I'm thinking about taking one right now as a matter of fact......
