Still Here

Taffy and I had a great time on Sunday. Went shopping --- I was looking at buying a bracelet online, but I found the materials in a shop across from Half-Price Books on Whitney Way so that I can make it for half-price and it'll have more meaning! Yay! Now I'm just trying to keep up with all of the reading when my mind's been switched off for summer. Oh well... finals will be here before I know it :( Taffy and I also discussed about themeing our house. Found the perfect shark to go into our fishy bathroom downstairs, but didn't buy due to money. Will probably adopt him in a couple of weeks. Then we found this really cute cow (same store) that would be the perfect footrest, but we can't justify spending $120 bucks for it (and we didn't think we could convince them to go down to $20). We think the kitchen would look really nice as a 50s diner because it has this funky black-and-white tiled floor. For our room we are thinking tropical to beat off those winter blues. We'll probably make curtains this summer in whatever little spare time we have. We still don't know about her application for raising a seeing-eye dog yet, but she's got her final interview this weekend and the interviewer is very excited. Fingers are crossed. We'd raise it for a year, teaching it basic commands and getting it used to all sorts of situations (which in Madison would be really easy with so many opportunities). It has all rights as a regular seeing-eye dog, so it could literally go anywhere. Hoping, wishing, and waiting on the news.

It Finally makes sense! Here's a list of what all those colored bands and ribbons mean. Suppose I should do some homework. Helping you be hip and current, Love Christi and Oscar

Long time, not much time

I've been kept pretty busy lately. Lots of work as the "buisness meeting/awards time" comes around. 50+ hours total in the last two weeks alone. And of course there have been tests....soo many tests! I haven't started the countdown until the end of school....it's too depressing. I was hoping to be able to post some pics of Matt whilest he was at home, but mom's sick so I didn't get to see her today and get that picture CD. I'll be heading out with my friend and future roommmate Taffy on the bus to the West Transfer Point for a quick grocery shopping stop. Then I've got to get back here to do homework...reading a book for Spanish, catching up on History reading, taking a Geology test, etc. So really, you didn't miss out on much. And thank Alissa for making me post (although she hasn't updated her page since FEB 28!!!). Lots of love, Christi and crazy Oscar.

P.S. I played a nasty joke on Dan that went rather well ---- I am hesitant to put the pictures created for him online though since I'd hate to give anyone a heart-attack. They look pretty good for a faked photo though :)
