A break from the pressures of life for some fun

One of the records I covered up with a cute picture of my roommates

I'm so excited for tomorrow. Mom, Preston, Taffy (if she's up for it) and I are going to go to the Farmer's Market! It'll be so much fun because we are always a barrel of laughs. It'll be nice to get to sleep in until 6:30AM (woo hoo! Better than 4:30AM by a long shot!). Then we are on a mission to find me some sort of desk-like furniture piece. Could be a desk, a table, or a piece of top (wood, plastic, countertop, etc). I need to get my desk fully settled in a place that won't block traffic. I'm so excited...sad as it sounds. Then we get to go grocery shopping at Woodmans...hooray! It is cheaper than a lot of the stores that are closer and has more selection too. Then tomorrow night is the Michigan game that Carmen and Matt will be attending while I watch from home (doing my homework/housework as well).

I didn't get any of my homework done tonight, but I did get started on a few other projects I have been meaning to get to, like hanging a football poster in the living room, starting on the records with pictures on them for the kitchen, cleaning off my desk space, putting pictures and documents onto the Toshiba, and getting my paycheck worked out. I was missing about an hour of time on my last paycheck. It's only about $11 missed, but that's still enough to gripe about. It's a couple of gallons of milk and some Monday lunches at Liz! Now I'm going to go clean in my room for about 5 minutes and pass out.

All and all, not a bad week. Next week's a little easier on the work schedule, but I have a midterm on Thursday, so it's not a easy week. I've been looking at some of the courses offered at Galway, Ireland....I sooooo want to take the American politics course there, just to see what it's like. And there's a British History and a bunch of European courses available. And I think it could be cool to learn a little Gaelic too. Hmmmm...decisions decisions. Where in the world (literally) do I want to go????????

Lots of love, Christi and Oscar (just got his water changed...he's no longer a stinky fishy!)

I'll get to it later

That seems to be the only thing I can say when someone asks me why something isn't done or when I'll be doing something. I can't help it. Between work, classes, home stuff, and other major decisions, which once I make I'll tell you, I just haven't had time. I'm lucky to get half of the readings done for one day before each discussion and I generally have two or three days of readings each week. Silly me, I should've dropped something other than band!

Work's going to kill me. Silly me, I volunteered for a couple of extra shifts to help out RHC (they make some of the food for campus, especially pastry/desserts and all of catering's food). Unfortunantly for me, shifts start at 5:30AM. When I don't get home some days until 5 or even 7PM, getting homework done before my bedtime of 9:30PM is really a stretch. There's got to be a way to do it all. Right???

Until I get one of those time changer thingys as seen in Harry Potter, I guess I'll do the best I can and get to the rest later.

Lots of love, Christi and Oscar (he's a hungry baby!!)
