"Pirates of the Carribean: Dead Man's Chest" is coming out tonight but I must patiently wait until Saturday to see it. Boo...I've been waiting since I saw the last one at the Union a couple of years ago. Bring on the pirates!!!!!
I got my grades back from Galway, 3 As and 2ABs!!!! I'm really happy about that, especially since I was so busy (umm....travelling) right there at the end. Heck, my final paper was sumbitted AFTER I got home! I of course did my "happy dance" about 1/2 way down Bascom Hill and will put my "report card" on the fridge at Mom's house.
Anything else? Taffy and Preston are still gone so I have no crazy puppy to play with and no Taffy to watch SVU with. They'll be back sometime this weekend (I hope). Molly's gone (I think...her car was here yesterday though?) and Heidi's gone LOTS so I'm usually here alone. I'm packing up boxes to go back to Mom's, mostly books right now, but soon it'll be clothes and such. Work's been fairly slow, it'll pick up tomorrow though with a couple of lunches and a big ice cream social. They have pulled out the cotton candy maker..I fear another circus-themed picnic in my fairly-near future.

Happy 4th of July (Independence Day for rich white dead dudes ca. 1776)
Today I will be spending the 4th of July alone. No work to do, no friends around, and Mom can't come up because she'll have already been up here 3 times this week w/ $2.98/gallon gas. What shall I do with myself? Not sure.
Last Friday night was Simon's birthday so Michelle and Erin and I went to his party at the Nitty, then to the Vintage. By this time poor Simon was kinda tipsy, but still up for a couple of hours dancing (until 1AM). Michelle stayed at my house and we made it home by two after walking the boys home. Saturday Michelle and Erin and I went to a movie and shopped. I had a GREAT time and I hope we get to do it again soon.
Other than that, life's been pretty normal. I'm trying to clean up the house pretty well but that just takes a lot of time. Will probably do a little of that today.
