"We feelin' hot Hot HOT!"

Yeah, let's sing the song but not waste the heat energy created when dancing. I was lucky in that I spent a lot of my day indoors - work (when I left it was 71F at 6AM!!), class (chilly!!), and a bus ride home (I know, totally cheating). Now I'm sitting in front of the fan in the living room sweating just sitting here in the 93F heat which feels like 100F . I thought Wisconsin was supposed to be a cold state...wait, maybe I should knock on some wood before we get a blizzard in August!

Life's still busy but slowing down. I had a fabulous Saturday going to the Farmer's Market with Mom. After deciding that I wouldn’t get flowers b/c the kitchen table is going to be used for boxing kitchenware, I bought a hibiscus plant! It’s just so cute I couldn’t resist.

Then Mom, Matt, and I went to TJ Whitney's for lunch before viewing “Superman Returns” to get out of the heat for a couple of hours. In my opinion it’s an alright movie...actually much better than I thought. Not sure if I’ll buy it when it comes out on video but I’ll probably borrow the copy Mom will get and rewatch it.

Sunday I had planned to go to Izzy's party but a flat tire ruined those hopes. I spent the day around the house enjoying my free time while sitting in the cute outfit I had planned to wear. No use making extra laundry...I should really be doing that right now.

Oh yeah, silly me got a second job. Not that I really need it but I thought it'd be nice to have a little random funds coming in once in awhile. I'll be picking and choosing what events to clean up for the UW Athletics office - the Kohl Center, Camp Randall, and the Fieldhouse. It's all night events, a couple a week. Sounds like fun!
