Answered Prayer
After I came home from the day with Mom and Matt (some shopping, her 1minute appointment, and seeing the movie "Cars" which was fantastic!!), Taffy and Molly invited me out to a walk to State St. It was great :D
My Big Fat Everything-But-Irish Mouth
No matter what I do I seem to get into trouble. My mouth and my fingers that type just never seem to get across what I'm trying to say. Now everyone at home is avoiding me like the plague. They can't stand to be in the same room as me. This is going to be harder than I thought. Yesterday I watched three movies and read one entire book to take my mind off of it but the laughter coming from Molly's room was too hard to stomach. Thank goodness Mom's coming up this afternoon. I'd have a hard time of it here alone. Alissa said (in our brief but welcome phone call) that her church sermon was all about not sweating about what we can't fix, God will see us through. I don't think I can fix this...I wish God would hurry up at least so that I don't have to start up every conversation.
Yeah....I should go to work.

Is it best to leave things unsaid if you can't speak well?
Well, my knee's much better but my roommate situation isn't.
I went out with the family yesterday, going to the Farmer's Market with Mom (she got such terrible blisters b/c she had never walked that far in those shoes before), hanging out at the Arboretum for a bit (Mom and I both couldn't walk so we sat down and did the kiddie crossword puzzles they handed out, finding all those words that aren't acutally supposed to be in there!) , and then meeting Linda and company at the Red Robin on the east side. Lunch was really fun...we should do that more often!! I got some new books and movies yesterday to help occupy my free time until my next class starts. Dropped off and sleepy by 4PM, I just slept for most of the night, getting up to change into PJs and daydream from about 9PM-11PM. I didn't want to go downstairs.
As for my roommate situation, I've decided to just shut up and keep out of everyone's way as much as possible. I brought Taffy an "I'm sorry" doughnut from the Farmer's Market which I guess didn't help. I know, I know, we should talk this out. I'm a terrible talker, just like I'm a terrible listener and a pathetic sympathizer. I don't know why....maybe because I don't have any sisters? I dunno. It takes practice which I sorely lack.
Church starts in about an hour so I'm going to get some housework done before heading off. I can finally bend my knee (although it's now sore from disuse) so no more hobbling!!
